The file inorpc.exe is a process of the InoculateIT Application, currently known as the eTrust Antivirus from Computer Associates International Incorporated. The process inorpc.exe assists the eTrust Antivirus software in managing computer virus challenges, by offering a wide-range virus management solution, which gives superior virus protection, eradicates virus infections, alleviates administration, and provides an easier and automated updating process.

The eTrust Antivirus software together with the inorpc.exe process comes packaged with several antivirus features. Dual Scanning Engines: this feat uses two real-time heuristic and schedule-based scanning engines to monitor viruses and variants before network damage occurs. This is similar to having a burglar alarm and watchdog at your house, to assure users of double protection for the price of one.
