The program imscinst.exe is also known as the Microsoft Input Message Editor Translator and its role is to translate Chinese and Japanese characters into English and vice versa while the user is employing the Internet Explorer browser, Word or Outlook e-mail system.

The executable file imscinst.exe is also called MSPY2002 and has a size of about 59 kilobytes. It is automatically launched every time the Microsoft Windows operating system is started.
