Description:

The program iemaximizer.exe is the core component of the software IE New Window Maximizer that automatically maximizes Internet Explorer and Outlook Express windows.

The main dialog of the iemaximizer.exe program displays status information of the Stealth and Fullscreen features. The display status is indicated by a green dot if these features are enabled and a red dot if they are disabled. When the application is launched, the iemaximizer.exe process installs itself in the system tray for easy access. This icon will maximize all new Internet Explorer windows that you will open, if the program is running.

The program iemaximizer.exe includes several functions for hiding and closing all IE windows with user-defined keys. If you enable the Stealth Mode feature of the program iemaximizer.exe, the taskbar icon will be hidden in the system tray. The only way to bring up the main window is to use the default hotkeys CTRL+ALT+W. The fullscreen mode opens all new IE Windows maximized if this feature is enabled.

If you encounter problems while maximizing normal IE windows, you can temporary disable the program iemaximizer.exe by pressing the left ALT key. No action will be taken on any IE window until you release the key. If you press CTRL while opening a new IE window, the window will be minimized and automatically sent to the background. This means that when you press a link while pressing the CTRL key together with the Shift key, the link will be launched in a new window behind the current IE window.

The iemaximizer.exe application was written and developed by Jonatan Dahl who owns and maintains the company jiiSoft. He developed several other programs such as Smart MP3 Renamer, designed to rename and tag MP3 albums, and Command Creator, create run-commands for use in the Start Menu's Run Dialog.

The file iemaximizer.exe automatically starts with every Windows boot process.
