Description:
The ibackground.exe file is also referred to as IBWin Background process. The ibackground.exe application will enable users to backup or restore interactively and schedule online backups for Windows Desktop, servers and drivers. The ibackground.exe application automatically chooses critical data such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, My Documents, Financial Files and other Office files. Other advanced features of the ibackground.exe application are Open file Backup, System State backup, MS SQL Server, MS Exchange Server and Oracle Server backups. The backup process of the ibackground.exe application includes the copying of files from your local hard drive or storage to your IBackup Online Account and Restore means to return or to bring back the files stored in your IBackup Online Account to your local hard drive.
The ibackground.exe file will display the interface of the application that asks for the username or email id and the password of the user. The ibackground.exe application interface also provides an option for SSL encryption and Remembers User Name or Email ID and password. Thru the ibackground.exe application, the user can also change the proxy settings of the ibackground.exe application thru the Settings button in the interface. Once the user has entered the correct user name and password on the ibackground.exe application, the set of folders or files in the users IBackup Online Account is displayed. In the ibackground.exe application toolbar, the following options are available:

For easy access to the ibackground.exe application, its icon is displayed on the Windows Desktop. There is also an icon in the Windows system tray that displays the following options:
Open Status Indicator Backup;
Update Password;
Manage All the Scheduled Jobs;
Send Error Report;
and Shutdown Indicator.
Thru the ibackground.exe application, the user can choose when the application will perform the backup. Afterwards, all files the user has chosen to backup will be displayed on his or her IBackup Online Account. If a scheduled backup/restore job is done, there is an email notification indicating that such backup/restore operation was performed. After the completion of the backup/restore job, the automatic power off option is displayed.
