Description:

The Gadu-Gadu Instant Messaging client application uses the process file gg.exe as its program launcher. Upon launching the program, the process gg.exe normally generates an icon in the system tray, which indicates if the parent application is active or not. The user, enabling users to chat with each other online, can access the process file gg.exe and its parent program Gadu-Gadu Instant Messaging client anytime.

The gg.exe file is specifically intended to support the Polish Language. Like most instant messengers, the gg.exe files main interface consists of a main window in which users will be able to see both offline and online contacts. In this window, users can add new users, as well as edit the contact details of already listed ones. The gg.exe file supports over fifty emoticons, and again, like most instant messaging applications, enables file transfers as well as additional plug-in features.

As with the instant messaging program ICQ, users of the Gadu-Gadu Instant Messaging client are identified by unique number strings. There are numerous add-ons available that provide extra features. The current version, version 6.0, allows offline messages to be viewed when an experimental SSL secure connection mode was made available for use.

Gadu-Gadu is Polish for "chit-chat." It is commonly known as the abbreviation GG. This software product is a Polish instant messaging client, and therefore the process gg.exe supports Polish language. Gadu-Gadu is financed by the display of advertisements from sponsors.
