The exec.exe process is part of the Netzero program installation package.

There has been some mention of JUNO also using the exec.exe process as part of their program.

In either case exec.exe is normally a safe process, but it should be noted that Malware distributors can also piggyback a normally safe process and deliver a troublesome Trojan or other malicious package through exec.exe or any other EXE process file.
