The process ertray.exe acts as the tray icon launcher of the XTNDConnect PC utility. The XTNDConnect PC or ertray.exe process is an add-on feature that is included with EasySync Pro. The function of the process ertray.exe is to allow end-users in synchronizing their Sony Ericsson mobile phones and Microsoft Outlook using the EasySync Pro. EasySync Pro was developed by IBM to enable its users to synchronize their IBM Lotus Notes email, contacts, calendar, tasks, and journal information from their handheld devices or mobile phones to their computers system.
