The dit.exe application may be installed at any time as a tool for media card drives. The most common file size for the dit.exe program is 73 Kb. The application starts as soon as the computer is turned on which is accomplished due to the entries the application creates in the system registry upon installation, namely HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Run. The user can retain the dit.exe application as a companion process to certain card readers. The dit.exe process runs the Drive Icon and Label Utility.
The main interface of the dit.exe process enables users to adjust the card readers access speed by allowing users to allot a data cache for the corresponding device. The Drive Icon and Label Utility are used with flash memory cards and flash memory card readers. Memory cards are portable storage devices that can be used by handheld devices, computer and cameras. Memory can then be transferred from the device to the computer by a USB cable. However, a memory card reader circumvents the need for a USB cable by connecting the storage card directly to the computer.
A memory card reader can access the storage directly and open it like a folder, getting access to all stored items and bypassing the device. The Drive Icon and Label Utility labels and identifies flash memory cards. Once the memory cards are labeled it is easier to detect and recognize them. An easily recognizable memory card will also be easier to read and install. Hardware drivers can be found once the memory card is detected.
This is a safe process. There is no necessity to remove this process from your system or change it in any way.
