Description:
The process daytoday.exe works in the background and supports the Day Today application, a calendar-based program created by the RoboMagic Software Corporation. The Day Today application has the file daytoday.exe to act as its main program. The process file daytoday.exe along with its mother application allows its users to view a display that consists the current day, month or week upon accessing the system tray icon of the program. To add to this, the daytoday.exe calendar program also allows the users to view the upcoming months by simply clicking the mouse pointer over the system tray icon. A pop-up window will then appear to facilitate the viewing of the month that the user wishes to see. The pop-up window can be in transparent mode setting, allowing the user to access that particular feature of the program without disrupting other ongoing processes that are running in the desktop during the users access of the said program. The program daytoday.exe enables users to set alarms for certain events and memos with the capability of designating corresponding sounds or audio tags to the default alarm.
The daytoday.exe process is technically not a part of the Microsoft Windows Operating System. What happens is that the file daytoday.exe and its parent program override the default calendar functions of Windows in the system tray. In cases that users would want to return to the default calendar mode, normally, disabling or terminating the process would allow the clock and calendar to reconfigure to its default form. This task is completed after the next boot up process.
