Description:

The connection.exe process launches the software Live Client Application Connection by Microsoft Office. This provides Live ID authentication. The process connection.exe is also used to connect to a Microsoft Office Live server with the users Windows Live ID credentials in order to list all documents in one of the users Microsoft Office Live libraries.

The program connection.exe is provided only as a sample code, but it is not intended for deployment. By default, this code sample is commonly found in the subfolder C:\ Program Files\ Microsoft Office Live\ Client Application\ connection.exe. Its known file size is 110 kilobytes.

The connection.exe program provides code for solution developers to build a client application that uses Windows Live ID Client and the Microsoft Office Live discovery Web service for all its authentication purposes.

The process connection.exe, when launched, runs a system that can access service from another computer system known as a server and through the means of network.
