Description:

The clcl.exe process directly communicates with the Windows clipboard. It adds extra functionality to the Windows clipboard. It is able to access the temporary data stored on the Windows clipboard and perform various tasks on the text. The executable file clcl.exe primarily functions as the main program launcher for the Clipboard Caching program. The Clipboard Caching program can store clips of texts, photos, clipart, web links and more. It can also paste clips to other applications that may then copy the desired data.

The Windows clipboard text can instantly be recovered even if the operating system is interrupted. The program can also assign hot keys to favorite text clips. The program can group text clips into any set of categories that the user chooses. With the application, the user can also remove, rename, and create new text clips. The user can also edit the size of a text clip and even change the date and time embedded on the text clips.

The clcl.exe process provides a lot of useful extensions to the Windows clipboard. The clcl.exe program menu also includes a template where frequently used clipboard content can be saved. It has a viewer to give you a detailed look of your clipboard contents and clicking the options menu opens up numerous other options for the application.
