Description:

The cFosSpeed software also known as the cfosspeed.exe process is a program used to accelerate Internet connections, speed up file sharing (P2P), enhance online gaming connections and prevent sudden network connection interruptions. The cfosspeed.exe file functions as the primary launcher for the aforementioned application.

The application cFosSpeed optimizes connection settings by monitoring and controlling the flow of incoming and outgoing data. With the cfosspeed.exe file, users can either maximize the amount of bandwidth provided by sacrificing a little bit of network latency (for heavy internet browsing or downloading files), or smoothen the flow of data and reduce overall latency which in turn sacrifices a little bit of bandwidth (perfect for online gaming and such). The cfosspeed.exe process also provides users with a firewall service, which can be used to block potentially harmful components from being downloaded onto the computer unit. Users can either let the application manage itself, or for more advanced users, configure their own settings. The program cfosspeed.exe also lets users view the networking hardware in use, as well as adjust its properties.

Upon launching the cfosspeed.exe process, users would be able to see a small button placed on the users taskbar. Rather than a tray icon, the cfosspeed.exe files main interface is more similar to that of the standard Start menu found in Windows. Here, users would be able to select options or activate certain features such as its own window settings and software updates easily, and if necessary, launch a much bigger window wherein advanced settings such as Bandwidth allocation and Traffic shaping, as well as help topics can be selected.
