The Toshiba Power Management Utility and the process cepmtray.exe is an application that allows the user to configure the settings of any Toshiba supported laptop and desktop. The cepmtray.exe program is a part of the Toshiba Power Management Utility that acts as its tray launcher. The file cepmtray.exe or the Toshiba Power Management tray icon grants users quick and easy access to the application. The icon provided by the process cepmtray.exe is normally placed on the system tray (lower right part of the desktop screen near the Windows clock). Once the Toshiba Power Management Utility is accessed through its icon, it enables the user to create and setup different profiles for both battery power and AC power on laptop computers. The Toshiba Power Management Utility also allows the user to control and monitor most parts of the Toshiba supported desktops such as CPU speed, system shut-off, brightness and hard drive shut-off.
