Description:

The file process ccregvfy.exe is an executable file and it is just a part of the main application named Norton Anti-virus 2003. The ccregvfy.exe process double checks the system registry if there are registry changes like a change in one of the values or names on the registry tree. Reports say that letting the ccregvfy.exe process to run during startup is a must, since scanning the registry is one of the most important tasks for most security software to accomplish.

Since the ccregvfy.exe file plays an important role when it comes to data protection, terminating the program while it is running would stop the process of the ccregvfy.exe file and would lead to an incomplete registry scan.
