Description:

The legitimate file ccevtmgr.exe process is a part of the Norton Anti-virus software utility by Symantec Software. The file process ccevtmgr.exe is in charge of monitoring the scheduled update for the Norton security application so as to manage and update its database upon scheduled date set by users for better data / file protection. Though this file is not the main program launcher of the whole application, it is still considered as an important component in order for the program to function properly. The ccevtmgr.exe process is in control of managing the scheduled dates configured by users and calls the application to do an assigned task then updates the records by connecting to the Internet.
