Description:

The program file cachemgr.exe is the remote updater for the Sophos Antivirus application. It controls the running of the Sophos cache manager which is a part of the antivirus application. The process updates the Sophos Antivirus application with any changes in the virus database, detection processes, etc. A private company known as Sophos Plc created the process file cachemgr.exe.
