Description:

The process bttray.exe is also known as the Bluetooth Tray Icon. It allows the user to check the status of Bluetooth devices connected to the users PC. This process also allows users to manage the transferring of files through Bluetooth connection. It comes along with the Widcomm Bluetooth software.

The program file bttray.exe or the Bluetooth Tray Icon enables its users to configure the settings of their Bluetooth device. When the user right-clicks the Bluetooth tray icon, the system is able to instantly detect, start, stop, and connect to a Bluetooth device. The icon can also allow the user to configure the security features of the connected Bluetooth device.

The bttray.exe process has an icon that changes from blue to white when a connection is taking place and from blue to red when the Bluetooth connection is disconnected. The Bluetooth Tray Icon also allows the users access to the following features:

the setup wizard;

quick connect;

bluetooth places;

advanced configuration;

and the shutdown device feature.

The process bttray.exe is bundled with many Bluetooth devices. This process will recognize many Bluetooth-enabled devices.

The process bttray.exe may be stopped whenever the Bluetooth device is not used. The user must not terminate the bttray.exe process while the Bluetooth device is still being used because the device will be automatically disconnected, which may lead to unexpected malfunctions.
