Description:

The file avguard.exe is a program that executes a background task provided by the application AntiVir Personal Edition Classic Guard. The avguard.exe process is a safe program file and should not be terminated by the user unless intending to remove the parent program in order to subsequently install a set of different software security tools. The process file avguard.exe basically executes itself during boot-up and consumes roughly 634Kb of Random Access Memory (RAM) when the application AntiVir Personal Edition Classic Guard operates. The file avguard.exe or the launcher of the software AntiVir Personal Edition Classic Guard is placed in the default path [%C:\ Program Files\ AntiVir Personal Edition Classic\ %].

The avguard.exe process can be manually opened using the command prompt. The avguard.exe file does not create conflicts with the currently installed applications, process files, or common files belonging to the Windows operating system. The application AntiVir Personal Edition Classic Guard will automatically close once the process file avguard.exe is terminated by the user through the Processes tab of Windows Task Manager.
