How can I find out what the font used in my Sticky Notes program is? Love it!
Sticky Notes is quite a popular program that is available with Windows 7. However, it isn't available with Windows 7 Home Basic or Starter.
Using a Word Document for Font Identification
There doesn't appear to be a clear path to identifying the font in the Sticky Notes Program. However, there is a workaround. The following is one strategy that you can use in your attempt to discover what font your Sticky Notes program is using. First, you need to copy the text contained in one of your sticky notes. Next, paste the text into a word document. Then, highlight the text within the word document and select the option to change your font. You should be able to see what the existing sticky notes font is.

A number of keyboard shortcuts can be used to modify the appearance of your sticky notes font.
Follow these directions to make changes to your font in your Sticky Notes Program.
- Highlight the sticky notes font that you want to change.
- Use the keyboard shortcut to modify the text.
- a) To create bold fonts, press Ctrl+B.
- b) To create italic fonts, press Ctrl+I.
- c) To change your sticky notes fonts to underlined text, press Ctrl+U.
Tips for Font Changes: Font Style
If you want to change the style of your font in your sticky notes, simply open a word document. Select the font that you wish to use from your options. Type a letter, word, or the entire message in your word document. Copy and paste the text into your sticky note. Anything else you type in that specific sticky note uses the same font.
Tips for Font Changes: Font Size
If you want to change your font size in your Sticky Notes program, highlight the text and press Ctrl+Shift+> to increase your font size. To decrease the font size, press Ctrl+Shift+<.
