Over the years, PC Tools has earned numerous awards and certifications such as:

  • Editor’s Choice from PC Magazine
  • PC World 101 Fantastic Freebies
  • PC World Best Buy

PC Tools runs a Malware Research Center in their fight against malware developers. As the malware developers create new malicious programs, researchers quickly discover the new threats and create defenses against them.

How it works

These tools and many other PC Tools are available online and at many computer stores such as Fry’s, Best Buy, and Office Depot. Free downloads are available online though some limitations apply. Prices are typically under yearly subscriptions which must be renewed each year.

Recommendations

Since most PC Tools are available in trial versions, it’s worthwhile to try before you buy. While the trial versions may not allow you use the software to its fullest, they will give you a feel for how the products are designed. Should you like what you see, a quick upgrade is just a few clicks away.
