Overview
CyberDefender provides an effective, prompt, first line of defense against computer viruses, spyware, phishing scams, spam, and other malicious programs. Like many computer security products now on the market, CyberDefender provides an “all-in-one” solution and real-time protection.
Features
Virus Protection - CyberDefender Early Detection Center includes a powerful antivirus tool called EarlyVirus that scans and removes computer viruses as well as blocks incoming viruses in real time. New threats are promptly reported to CyberDefender which then issues the latest virus defenses automatically as they are developed.
Spyware Protection - In addition to protecting computers from viruses, the Early Detection Center also protects them from spyware with the EarlySpy tool. As spyware threats are identified and defenses created, they are then broadcast to CyberDefender automatically.
Scam Shield - CyberDefender also protects users from phishing attempts and other online scams. The Scam Shield ranks threats according to their seriousness and warns users of the possibility of a scam. Further information is included as is an override feature for users who wish to continue.
Spam Protection - In addition to marking websites as possible scams, CyberDefender also deals with incoming scams in the form of spam. CyberDefender filters out spam containing adware, malware, spyware, viruses, and scams.
Intrusion Controls - EarlyMonitor actively protects the computer from intruders and worms. In addition, it reminds users of upcoming operating system updates and checks the firewall settings to make sure that the system is adequately protected from hackers and worms.
Benefits
CyberDefender Early Detection is an all-in-one solution that eliminates the need for separate applications such as anti-virus, anti-spyware, and anti-spam programs. Computers protected by CyberDefender are protected in real time which means that most threats are blocked as soon as they attempt to break in. Comprehensive scanning ensures that any threats that get past the first line of defense are detected and removed.
With spam protection and scam shields included, users are protected from online con artists that attempt to trick users into revealing their personal information. Incoming phishing emails are filtered out while phishing Web sites are actively blocked.
How it works
CyberDefender Early Detection comes in one, two, and three year subscriptions with discounts for each year purchased. Licenses are available for a single computer or five computers. CyberDefender offers a 30-day money back guarantee.

I use Cyberdefender, and it is actually a great product. I got the W32.Gamma virus on a flash drive when I was traveling in China, and spread it from my laptop to my home system cy8-rm00z. This is also known as the Tavo.exe virus.
Anyway, I ended up downloading the free version of Cyberdefender, and ran it. It cleaned up the W32.Gamma and a few other evil things on my program.
I noticed that the free version comes with a pop-up trying to upgrade you about once a week, but hey it is free software.
I purchased the upgrade; it comes with a computer help line, where they will take care of any kind of a problem on your system. I did this, so when I am away, and my wife has a computer problem she has someone to contact. She used it once, and said they took care of a printer problem in about 10 minutes.
So, great stuff. I have tried AVG and PC Tools, but I like CyberDefender the best, and the paid version is really worth it. JMHO!
I cannot register this software as the company does not accept British e-mail addresses.
Why not register for a free Yahoo.com or Hotmail.com email address and use it to register the software? Once the software is registered, then “dispose” of the email account.
