What is Driver Genius?
Driver Genius is a program that allows you to quickly find and update the device drivers for the various hardware and peripheral devices on your computer. Among its many features are tools for backing up and restoring device drivers, device diagnostics tools, updating drivers functions, removing obsolete drivers for performance, and more.
Purchasing Driver Genius
Many users find that manually updating their device drivers is time consuming and difficult. For about $30 or so, products like this make updating device drivers fairly painless. However, in your case, it appears that the software doesn’t know that you have paid the licensing fee. What typically happens is that a user pays for the product and within about fifteen minutes or so, an e-mail arrives containing the license code. You must enter this license code into the Driver Genius software in order to get the software to stop nagging you for payment.
Entering the License Code
Since the license code arrives by e-mail, check your inbox for a message containing this information. If it is not in your inbox, double check your spam or junk mail folder as it’s common for these messages to be filtered as spam. If you did not receive the e-mail or have since lost it, you can contact sales@driver-soft.com directly for a replacement license code. You’ll need your order ID. However, if you don’t have the order ID either, you will need to provide them with the name of the site where you initially purchased the product, the e-mail address you used to register, and other details.
Once you have the license code, open Driver Genius and click on the Help menu. Choose Enter Code and then copy and paste the code into the box. The code is case sensitive, so copying and pasting is your best bet to avoid any entry errors.
Finding the license code and entering it into the software should solve the problem. By entering the code, you are telling the software that you have purchased the license. Once it understands this, it should stop prompting you to do so.
