Unfortunately, any computer software application can experience intermittent errors and Activeshield is no different. The errors that occur with Activeshield can be either major or minor depending on the cause and the duration that the errors are allowed to fester without getting fixed. Plus, there is simply no way of knowing when these errors are going to occur. They just pop up like all of the other annoyances that tend to occur without rhyme or reason. That is quite possibly the most annoying facet of this application for me, but it has a simple fix that is quick and easy.
I don’t like that errors happen and I am quite sure that no one else likes that they happen either. However, sometimes it is simply part of owning and using a computer. Fortunately, it is often possible to figure out why an error with Activeshield is happening in a minimal amount of time and with very little troubleshooting. Plus, it is often possible to determine how to get rid of the error depending on the message that pops up without asking for help from an expensive computer technician. This can be quite beneficial for computer users who like to solve the problem themselves without spending any money out of pocket.
While some of the errors that can occur with Activeshield occur when a computer is first booted up, they can occur at any time and without any warning. The reasons why these Activeshield errors occur can be quite varied, but they are rarely unfixable. Sometimes, it might be possible to guess why an error with the application is happening simply because of the timeframe during which it occurs. Since I understand why certain errors occur, I can look for these circumstances when the errors appear and make a fairly educated guess.
However, the exact reason behind the error can only be determined by scrutinizing several facets. The error message that is received is a good indicator of the type of error that has occurred. Additionally, the specific version of McAfee Internet Security Suite Antivirus application that is installed on the computer is an important piece of information. Plus, the operating system that is used on the computer is important in determining why the error has occurred.
This last reason is probably one that you have encountered with other types of software. I know that I have one computer with an operating system that should have been retired years ago, but I just cannot bear to part with my first machine using a Windows based operating system. Since the operating system is old, it causes problems every now and again with some new software application.
