Blog Earning Tips for Beginners
Blogs are a huge phenomenon right now and everyone wants to start their own web log and start earning money. Unfortunately, it isn’t quite as simple as throwing up a few posts, some Adsense and a handful of other ads. The truth is that it can take years to make money and most bloggers never earn more than a few dollars. There are steps you can take to help your blog get off to the right start.
First of all, you need to be realistic about how much money you will earn right off the bat. That means you shouldn’t expect to earn anything until you have built up a proper archive and have a good, strong following of loyal readers. Many bloggers make the mistake of thinking that they can just write a half dozen posts and sit back to let the money roll in, but this simply isn’t true. Having realistic expectations from the start is key to successful blogging.
Choose a topic that you can write a lot about. If you have some obscure topic that requires intense investigation for every post, you probably won’t be able to post that often. You want something that is interesting to other people, but also to you. Remember, if things go well, you will be writing literally thousands of short articles on your blog topic!
Posting regularly is another vital part of successful blogging. The more regular you are and the more frequently you add new content to your blog, the faster the search engines will pick you up and the more people will check back to see what’s new. Also, if you intend to take on paid posts such as those from PayPerPost, you will be required to have a track record of posting frequently.
The life of a blogger can be a lonely one, but you need to make the effort to network. This can be done through participating in group writing projects which larger blogs frequently hold, or joining a blog carnival. Leaving positive contributions in the comments section of other blogs is a good way to get more bloggers looking at your work and you might even end up forming a relationship with some of them. This is beneficial because you automatically get more visitors this way.
Of course, none of the above tips is much good if you don’t offer good quality content. You could have the most interesting subject in the world, but if you just pop out short, dull posts because you have to, no one will read them. Without visitors, you can’t earn money, so it is in your best interest to offer highly useful, interesting information in your posts to keep people coming back.
Money won’t come right away, but if you are a consistent, quality blogger, eventually you will build up enough traffic to really start monetizing. The key is to stick with it, even when you have just 15 visits a day. Over time, that number will grow and you will find yourself earning.
You can leave a comment, or trackback from your own site.

This is a great article for the beginners. Keep up the good work.
Very true. So many new people are trying their hand at “making money online” but the majority end up spending a few bucks and then quitting because they don’t start earning straight away. These things take time.
